A Union Jack was being hoisted up the flagpole as I pulled into the parking lot at the Inn at Longshore. The birds were singing and fluffy white clouds floated overhead. I entered the lobby and heard a groomsman exclaim “it’s way bigger than the American Flag! It’s a British invasion!” Upstairs the bride Scarlett, an American gal, was getting ready to marry her British beaux. A tea spread, fit for the queen, was being assembled in the ballroom. Outside Jacob and his men sat in Adirondack chairs looking out at the ocean, waiting for the time when at last Scarlett would become his wife….

Some wee members of the bridal party decided to have a little fun while they were waiting for the ceremony to start.
Guests started to arrive.
And then it was time for the ceremony to start.
We didn’t have to go far to find a beautiful spot for photos!
As the sun went down, guest moved into the ballroom for dinner and dancing!
